Choosing a JKBMS Inverter Cable

An RJ45 plug fits an RJ45 socket regardless of what is wired behind it. That is how communication ports get damaged.

Connector shape proves nothing

CAN, RS485, UART and service links all appear on RJ45 in this ecosystem. The plug seating tells you the mechanical fit and nothing about the electrical one, so the pinout has to be checked against both manuals before anything is energised.

What to confirm before ordering

A cable is defined by more than its ends. Establish the protocol, the pin assignment at each end, and whether the run needs to be straight-through or crossed.

Service cables are a separate category
