Confirm before you buy
Support is a property of a BMS firmware version and an inverter firmware version together. Record both before ordering, because a protocol listed against a brand does not guarantee the build in front of you implements it.
Then isolate in order
When a link does not come up, work outwards from the pack rather than starting at the protocol. Each step rules out a whole class of fault.
- Pack healthy and cell readings sane on local monitoring
- Correct interface selected — CAN or RS485
- Pinout verified against both manuals
- Bitrate or baud rate matched at both ends
- Protocol profile selected on the inverter, and firmware versions recorded
What a working link should show
Once the handshake succeeds the inverter should display pack voltage, current and state of charge sourced from the BMS, and should act on charge and discharge limits it reports. An inverter that displays a pack but ignores its limits is not fully linked.

Frequently asked questions
Usually wiring or a firmware version mismatch rather than genuine incompatibility.
That the pack itself is healthy on local monitoring, before touching the protocol.
The inverter shows BMS-sourced values and acts on the reported charge and discharge limits.
