SELECTION HELP

Check the system requirements before ordering

Technical guides help narrow the product and configuration. The exact product specifications, written quotation, and compatibility confirmation remain the final reference.

FIT AND INSTALLATION NOTES

Designing JKBMS-WiFi into a pack

JKBMS-WiFi is a JKBMS accessories unit. Whether it suits a build is decided by the cells, the load and the enclosure rather than by the model name, so the notes below cover what to settle before ordering and what tends to go wrong after.

Application context

Bought for an existing JKBMS installation that needs a display, adapter or module added to it. Within the JKBMS accessories, that is the job this one is sized for.

Ratings for JKBMS-WiFi depend on the selected configuration, so take them from the spec table on this page rather than from the model name.

Decide early whether the finished installation needs Bluetooth, a wired display, a CAN or RS485 link, or a USB service adapter, because that choice often determines which port is free.

Decision checks

  • Confirm cell chemistry, series count and resting pack voltage before comparing anything else.
  • Space: 60.5 x 60.5 x 12.6 mm, plus room for cable bends, airflow and a hand to reach the terminals later.
  • Terminals and harness rated for the current actually planned, not for the board maximum.
  • Configuration and destination confirmed at checkout, since shipping rules differ by region.

Model planning

Does this fit the build?

The figures below are the ones that decide whether JKBMS WiFi Remote Monitoring Module works in a given pack. Read them against the cells and the load before ordering.

Primary use
JKBMS display, monitoring, module, or harness support
Installation size
60.5 x 60.5 x 12.6 mm

Pre-order checks

  • Take the current rating from the spec table above and size cable, terminals and protection against the real load rather than the pack capacity.
  • If this will talk to an inverter, settle the interface, the pinout and both firmware versions before the pack is assembled.
  • Balance requirements come from how well the cells are matched and how much idle time the duty cycle leaves, not from the model name.
  • Leave the enclosure question until last and it becomes the expensive one: cable bend radius, airflow and reaching a terminal after assembly are all easier to design in than to retrofit.

System fit checks

Before it ships, and before it powers up

Four things worth settling while the order is still changeable, and one worth doing in the right order once the hardware arrives.

Fit

Match it to the cells and the load

Confirm the exact supported battery string range on the product page. Match the continuous current rating to the actual load and protection design. Confirm the required active-balancing current before choosing a model.

Link

Settle the interface before the pack is closed

For any inverter-connected system, confirm CAN or RS485 requirements, cable wiring, battery limits, master-slave roles, and commissioning settings before shipment.

Space

Mounting, airflow and reach

Reserve space for the listed dimensions: 60.5 x 60.5 x 12.6 mm. Plan the installation around -40 to 80 degrees C operating conditions. Use suitable fusing, cable size, torque, ventilation, insulation, and commissioning checks for the final battery system.

Commissioning

The order that saves a day

Bring the pack up on local monitoring and confirm the cell readings look sane before connecting anything downstream. Debugging a protocol handshake against a pack that has an unrelated wiring or balance fault costs most of a commissioning day.

Buying notes

What to confirm before ordering

Practical points buyers raise before paying: where the product comes from, what documentation to check first, how it ships, and how the price is set.

Source

Bought from the factory that builds it

This catalogue is operated by JKBMS Electronic Technology Co.,Ltd rather than a reseller, so model configuration, documentation, and warranty questions are answered by the manufacturer instead of being referred upstream.

Documentation

Confirm the manual before you wire anything

Parameter sets and connector assignments differ between model families and hardware revisions. Download the manual for this exact model and check it against your pack before commissioning rather than relying on a similar model.

Shipping

Free worldwide shipping

JKBMS boards, monitors, displays, and accessories ship free worldwide. Delivery time depends on destination and customs handling rather than on the order value.

Checkout

Priced per SKU, paid through PayPal

Each configuration is priced separately and the total is re-checked on the server at checkout, so the price shown for the selected SKU is the price charged. Larger quantities are quoted separately through a bulk enquiry.

Product FAQ

Official buying and compatibility notes

Will this WiFi module work with my JKBMS?

Compatibility depends on the BMS model, firmware, available TTL or RS485 interface, connector pinout and harness. Send these details to zhou@jkess.com before ordering. It is a monitoring accessory, not a replacement BMS or a universal CAN adapter.

Can I monitor the battery locally and remotely?

LAN mode supports browser access on the same network. WAN monitoring uses the supported cloud platform and requires an internet connection. Use AP mode for setup, then STA mode to connect to a 2.4GHz router. Confirm cloud access and supported functions for your installation before purchase.

Can TTL and RS485 be connected at the same time?

No. Both harnesses are included, but only one communication interface can be used at a time. Match the cable and pinout to the exact BMS; the default baud rate is 115200.

What is included in the standard package?

JKBMS WiFi remote monitoring module; TTL communication harness; RS485 communication harness. Not included: BMS main unit, battery cells, router and internet connection; Onsite installation, network commissioning or custom cloud integration. Where a configuration option changes the contents, the option selected at checkout is what ships.

How much is delivery and how do I order?

Select the standard package and use Add to cart or Buy now. The WiFi module ships free under our accessory shipping policy. If your cart also contains a battery kit, kit shipping rules apply. For quantity pricing or compatibility confirmation, contact zhou@jkess.com. Return and shipping terms are at https://www.batteryboxkit.com/company/policies.
